05/22/24 JOSEPH, CHRIS & LANCE REPLACE FURNACE AND AC Shut off power to furnace and air conditioning at the breaker panel. Recovered refrigerant. Disconnected furnace, air conditioner and indoor coil. Removed the old equipment. Set new furnace in place. Set new indoor coil on top of furnace. Connected equipment to the ductwork. Connected furnace to gas, drain and vent piping. Set new air conditioner on a new pad. Flushed out line set to remove contamination from old system. Connected the line set to the indoor coil and outdoor unit using manufacturer’s recommended methods. Connected electrical and control wiring to the furnace and air conditioner. Installed a new thermostat. Ran and tested both the furnace and the air conditioner. The new equipment is operating properly at the completion of the installation. Checked furnace air filter & blower compartment—pass. Checked water heater tank and operation—pass. Checked all AC components, electrical components, refrigerant levels, coils, drain, line insulation, temperatures and pressures.— Tested the water for hardness and total dissolved solids—. 18 water hardness, should be three or less. Provided options for correcting deficiencies. Recommend adding new water softener. Also, recommend only venting dryer vent to the outside, never towards the inside.
