Today, I installed a whole home water filtration system. I connected the filtration unit to the main water supply line, ensuring secure fittings and proper alignment. I used PEX piping and SharkBite connectors for reliable connections. After installation, I tested the system for leaks and confirmed optimal water flow. I provided an estimate for installing a hose faucet, to be completed on a separate job. The installation will involve adding a new frost-free hose bib, connecting it to the existing plumbing, and ensuring proper sealing to prevent leaks. This will enhance outdoor water access for the homeowner.

05/20/24 JOSEPH & LANCE TRY TO GET BOTH PACKAGED COOLING UNITS TO OPERATE Diagnose the units. Found defective relay in south unit. There was a lot of corroded wiring terminals as well. Replaced multiple wiring terminals and tightened up a bunch of other ones on the south unit. The north unit also had loose wiring and the common wire to the blower motor was on the wrong side of the main electrical switch so that the blower would not turn on. Corrected the wiring in the north unit as well. Both blower motors are working after these repairs were performed.

I conducted a cooling season inspection for a membership customer. I checked the refrigerant levels with a digital manifold gauge, inspected the evaporator and condenser coils for cleanliness, and verified proper thermostat operation. I also examined all electrical connections and components, ensuring everything was within the manufacturer's specifications. The system is now ready for efficient operation during the cooling season.

Today I cleared a clogged kitchen sink drain line using a cable auger machine. After locating the nearest cleanout access, I ran a Ridgid K-45AF drain cleaning machine with 5/16" x 25' cable through the 1-1/2" galvanized drain pipe. Feeding the auger cable down the line and working through obstructions allowed the clog to be bored through successfully. A final water test confirmed proper flow restored to the kitchen sink drain. Accessing via the cleanout provided the most direct route to clear this blockage.

05/06/24 JOSEPH & CHRIS NO HOT WATER Contacted technical support. They agree with my diagnosis of needing a new main control and temperature sensor. They are sending out free of charge under warranty, including free freight. It should be delivered within 2 to 3 days. We will then schedule to come out and replace the parts. 6/5/2024 Water heater is still operational without part replacement.
