Connected the furnace to ductwork, gas piping, vent piping, electrical and control wiring. Turned on the furnace and tested operation. Performed combustion analysis and set gas pressures to manufacturer specifications. The furnace is operating properly at the completion of installation. 04/15/2024 JOSEPH & CHRIS REPLACE VENTING TO CODE Replace single-wall pipe with double-wall pipe per code. 04/01/2024 JOSEPH HEAT DOESN’T SHUT OFF Checked over all wires and connections at the thermostat, furnace and air conditioner. Re-trimmed and reconnected all of the control wiring. Found no errors in the thermostat or furnace. There was a connection error in communications from back in February 2024, but it cleared itself. 3/25/24 JOSEPH & CHRIS REPLACE LEAKING WATER HEATER Shut of cold water supply to the water heater. Drained the water heater. Disconnected the electrical, gas piping and vent piping. Removed the water heater for disposal. Set the new water heater in place. Connected the water piping, gas piping, vent piping and electrical. Filled the water heater tank. 3/21/24 JOSEPH ZONES OT HEATING Three of the zone thermostats were set at 60°. The homeowner thought they were set up differently. All zones seem to be working, except the kitchen zone seems to stick either on or off from time to time. If this continues, we recommend replacing the kitchen zone thermostat. 03/14/24 JOSEPH & NOAH UNIT IS STILL SHUTTING DOWN ON E10 ERROR Checked intake and exhaust piping—No blockage. Checked combustion analysis. Slightly high CO2. (Should be around 9.5. Was 9.82). Set up the control to factory specified pressure based on the gas analysis. The boiler is lighting more consistently now and the analysis is spot on. INITIAL GAS ANALYSIS ON LOW FLUE TEMP: 94.6 O2: 3.5 CO2: 9.82 CO: 28 SECOND ANALYSIS ON LOW FLUE TEMP: 100.9 O2: 3.8 CO2: 9.51 CO: 37 3/20/24 JOSEPH BOILER IS STILL SHUTTING DOWN Disassembled most of the boiler and the controls. Recleaned the heater exchanger. Checked the gas piping into the boiler and within the boiler. Checked the burner plate and refractory. Checked the heat exchanger, condensate trap and condensate drain. Unplugged all wires and plugged them in again. Checked all gas pressures with the boiler at static, and also running. Today, I evaluated the installation requirements for a UV disinfection High Efficiency Whole House Water Filtration system in a standard single-family home. The assessment covered placement strategy, connection to the main water line, and setup of bypass valves. Included were provisions for pre-filtration units to handle sediment and a backwashing system to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the filtration media. Necessary fittings and mounting hardware were also listed in the detailed estimate.
3/11/24 JOSEPH REPLACE WELL TANK. REMOVE MIXED METAL PIPE AND FITTINGS. Shut off the power to the well pump at the circuit breaker panel. Drained the entire house plumbing system. Disconnected and removed the old well tank pipe and fittings. Set new well tank in place and re-piped pipe and fittings using only brass and copper. Restored power to the pump. Pressurized the system. Checked for leaks and proper operation. The plumbing system is operating properly at the completion of the installation. Paid in full by Service Finance financing. 3/5/24 JOSEPH, LANCE & CHRIS REPLACE FURNACE AND AC Reclaimed, refrigerant from air conditioner for disconnection. Disconnected the air conditioner and furnace. Removed the furnace, indoor coil. And the outdoor condensing unit. Set the new condensing unit on a new pad. Connected electrical and control wiring. Connected line set to condensing unit. Set the new furnace in place. Installed new indoor coil on top of furnace. Connected all ductwork, gas piping, drain line, Electrical wiring, control, wiring, and vent piping. Rebuilt the gas manifold to fit the new furnace and configure the gas piping in a more orderly way. Perform proper start up on the furnace and tested the furnace and all modes. We will not test the air conditioning until the weather is warmer. we still have a few things left to do and will return on Thursday to finish those up. March 7, 2024, Joseph, Lance, and Chris Finished up AC and other furnace condensate lines. Finished air conditioning line set and brazing.
3/8/24 JOSEPH KITCHEN IS OVERHEATING. The zone was calling for heat at the zone relay. The thermostat was in the OFF mode. As soon as I started checking the wiring, the zone shut off. Could not diagnose with failure not occurring. If this occurs again, we will need to perform wiring diagnosis on the myriad of wires in the control system. This will take several hours. Tested the water for hardness and total dissolved solids—0.0 and TDS is 187 The furnace, humidifier, air exchanger, water heater and water softener are operating properly at the completion of the inspection. 3/8/24 JOSEPH BOILER SYSTEM INSPECTION Everything tested good on the boiler except that the flutes on the bottom of the heat exchanger are blocked with ash. 2/29/24 JOSEPH NO HEAT—FURNACE REPAIR. Furnace was opened with no power going to it. This cleared the error code. Instructed Andrew on how to look through the sight glass if it happens again. Just in case, cleaned the flame rod which had some ash buildup on it. Furnace was turned on and it worked for a short time and then cycled back off again. Determined that it is short-cycling due to the very old Honeywell thermostat. Provided thermostat options. Andy enrolled in the Membership Plan. Replaced the thermostat with a Digital-Programmable thermostat. Turned the system back on. The furnace and thermostat are operating properly at the completion of the job. 02/28/24 JOSEPH & CHRIS NO HEAT Error code 23. Pressure switch did not open. Inspected switch, vacuum tubing, condensate trap and secondary heat exchanger. The furnace was installed 6/20/02. The secondary heat exchanger was replaced 8/25/15 at 13 years of age. It has been 8 seasons since it was replaced. Vacuum tubes checked out except the tube between the pressure switch and the collector box. When it was removed, the furnace started. Cleaned out the condensate trap and tubing and found evidence of secondary heat exchanger debris. The secondary heat exchanger is starting to fail again. Unable to determine the condition of it, but if the blocked vacuum tube going to the pressure switch from the Collector box is any indication, it is getting heavy enough to block off the flow of vacuum and drainage. Could not repeat the failure by running the furnace after everything was cleaned out. We will wait and see how long this will last. We will also give options for equipment replacements. Pa

02/27/24 JOSEPH, CHRIS & LANCE INSTALL NEW AIR EXCHANGER AND WATER SOFTENER Disconnected the old air exchanger and the water softener. Set the new water softener in place and piped into the system. Performed proper startup on the water softener. Transferred owners salt from his old softener to the new softener. Hauled the softener away for disposal. Removed the air exchanger for disposal. Hung the new air exchanger and attached ductwork. Replaced the wall control for the air exchanger. Performed proper startup and balancing of the air exchanger. The air exchanger and water softener are operating properly at the completion of the job. Job is financed and we will process the request for payment from the finance company.
