10/19/23 JOSEPH & LANCE ARZEL PANEL MALFUNCTIONING Spent time diagnosing the panel and thermostats. The first floor thermostat battery compartment was extremely corroded. The homeowner cleaned it up and put in new batteries. Checked all the other zones. The basement zone did not have a common wire hooked up. Connected the common wire at the zone panel and at the thermostat. Still could not get the system to function properly. Contacted Arzel technical support and determined that the panel circuit board was defective. We will present options on replacement of the circuit board and also the entire panel. We will also look at other Arzel panel options to determine the best way for the homeowner to proceed with this. REPLACEMENT OF ANODE ROD LOGAN, 10/30/23 I replaced the old anode rod with a new electronic one that the customer supplied. Once I finished replacing the anode rod, I made sure there were no leaks in the fittings or in the water heater itself. The water was running properly at the end of the repair. 09/25/23 JOSEPH ROTATE WATER HEATER AND REPLACE RELIEF VALVE Christian enrolled in the membership plan. Cut out the water piping. Disconnected the gas line and vent piping. Rotated the water heater. Installed the new relief valve. Reconnected the vent piping. Reconnected the gas piping temporarily and connected the water piping. Refilled the water heater and lit the pilot light. The water heater is now functioning properly. We need to return to install a shut off valve on the hot water side as well as a code-approved humidifier supply valve. We will come back tomorrow to do that. Received half down on the full job. We were received final payment when we complete all of the work. 09/27/23 JOSEPH Returned and installed hot water shut off valve and humidifier shut off valve. Also installed new gas line between the gas manifold and water heater. Service for an air conditioner not cooling. Found that the high voltage storage device on the outdoor unit failed on the compressor terminals. Provided options to the homeowner for the membership club as well as the repair. The homeowner authorized the repair and enrolled in the AC maintenance membership club. The air conditioner is operating properly at the completion of the call. This unit is under warranty, so we will file the warranty paperwork with the manufacturer.
